What Our Mission Teams Say
Real stories from people who’ve served with Grace and Peace in Barahona, Dominican Republic.
Eversince my first trip to the Dominican Republic ni 2018, as a high school ministry chaperone, I have been amazed by the work that Grace and Peace does to provide for the community of Barahona. Our family currently provides for two widows, in addition to helping for the widows' special needs. It is a blessing to know that our contributions are providing for their humanitarian needs but also their spiritual and eternal welfare. It is an added blessing to know that my company supports the humanitarian contributions of Grace and Peace by matching my monthly contributions. We will continue to support this ministry in any way possible.

Partnering with Grace & Peace has been an incredible blessing to our organization, enabling us to provide not only quality medical mission care, but meaningful continuity of care through their trusted in-country staff who can follow up with patients after our teams return home. Through this long-term partnership, we have built lasting friendships with local community members, interpreters, and the Grace & Peace team, enriching our ministry. We're especially grateful for Karen and Bill, whose wisdom and example have taught us so much about faithful, Christ-centered missions and servant leadership. Grace & Peace has been far more than a ministry partner—they have become dear friends and true co-laborers in the gospel.
Steve and Katie, Brown Horse Project
Serving the beautiful widows that are in the care of Grace and Peace Missionary Fellowship, has shown me simply how to be present and share Gods love through kindness & compassion. Praying with them reminded me how faithful God is, even in the season of loss and hardship. This experience has strengthened my faith and taught me that even small acts of love can make a lasting difference

Grace and Peace exemplifies James 1:27 and James 2:14-17. My short-term mission trips to Grace and Peace give me the opportunity to follow what the early church did to take care of the poor and share the good new of Jesus.
